I decided to write this report while I was devouring a smoked sockeye fillet along with some crackers. I got a chance to fish Friday night and Saturday with some friends. We started out the day Saturday fishing 6 oz of lead on 20' of line with good success. Chartreuse has been a great color for me lately along with the green taped up dodger I displayed in my last post. It's a lot of fun having consist action, but also equally entertaining watching all the other boats hooking up fish. After a while the bite slowed for us, but some of the other boats continued to hammer the sockeye. I figured that our depth was the issue, but it took 2 hours for me to find the bite again. At the end of our trip we were fishing with 65' of line with 6 oz. we finally managed to net 3 limits by late morning.

These fish are still in fine shape and are really fun to catch. Good luck out there.
