we were trolling with down riggers. set depth around 65 feet between the launch at Mossyrock park and the island. trolled at about 5 on the minkota. The cross wind was a little tricky, kept trying to blow us into the shore. caught 6- 3 at 15" and 3 around 12". caught most of them around 10 am. Surface Water Temp. is about 72 degrees so the fish din't last long in the live well and had to be put on ice. we were running cowbells and wedding rings with orange powerbait on the hook. most of the fish marked around 60 to 85 feet with some down around 100.

be careful around the island, the depth finder said 100 feet but we caught our cannon ball on something and lost our cowbells, thankfully not our downrigger ball!

Yea on the southwest corner of the island there s a uncut full standing tree that probably has about a $1000 of lures and downrigger stuff on it

Thanks for the report. When I was there in June I found that tree with both of my downrigger balls and ended up losing one. You can see the tree on the sonar. I love Riffe but fishing wasn't as good this year as it was last year.
