Hi all,

Been a while. Work... Now, new to me boat, work can wait... :)

Brought my son out and hit the lake at roughly 730 Tuesday morning. Later than i wanted but oh well. Started trolling just out from the launch, actually after Kokanee but anything caught is a good day. Kid was using a Deadly Venom prototype spinner lure, gold and orange fronted by one of their gold dodgers.
I went for a watermelon Seps dodger, and a lime green sparkle hoochie with blade that i made.

Kid was leaded line fishing at 4 colors out, me on the dr at varied 30-38'. He hooked into a koke, i'm sure of it. It hit hard, fought him but soon was gone. Back to the troll. Then bang he has a nice 13" cutt on and into the boat. He gets 2 more drive by's in the next 20 minutes, then I get my first one at roughly 9am, another cutthroat. Then he has another on and into the boat.
I get a 10" cut, what's that?! Ugh, hooked him good so i kept him on board. Kid's just looking at me like, nice fish... Whatever, you can swim back to shore right? :-p
Son lands one more cutt, again in the 13-14" range, now about 10am. We kept trolling until about 11am, he had a couple more drive by's, me nothing and even changed colors somewhere in there to pink hoochie and a silver/pink sling blade dodger.

No kokes, 5 cutt's and a nice day with my youngest. Headed to Lake Washington on Friday if the weather isn't too rainy.

Fish on!
