Went to out after work and dinner 5:15pm to dark...started left of boat launch had two bites on top water minnow by first dock...and around corner out deeper over weeds...was calm on launch side and decided not to venture across the lake as my battery was dead...I had no luck by white house that feeds birds and by dock...landed first fish by birdhouses a bluegill...then sunfish, had a few rolls but no bass...landed a good crappie around corner ..and five more sunfish and bluegills...seems like bass are harder to find at Cassidy...or it's over run with sunfish...I finally got a bass in back of pads and took a photo...then noticed the sky...took lots of photos of that...not bad had 11 fish just one bass...anyone else noticing lack of bass there lately?
Had no bites on my black buzzbaits...and nothing chased my minnow...it was still fishing top water or no bites. Not a bad night and great sky....

Good luck out there.

James
