Opening week on the humptulips. Drift boat in the tidal water early morning. Kings are in the river and can be seen surfacing. There were a few fish caught in other boats but all morning it was soft takes and no consistent action. Most boats struggled to get 1 or 2. Flow was minimal and weather was very hot. River won't wake up until some rain hits, until then its going to be tough fishing!
