My first season on this river. I fished the lower tidal areas, put in at sunrise and rowed back up river under 109 bridge a ways, there is a beautiful run just past that full of Kings jumping but mostly not biting. One hatchery coho was caught by a nearby boat. I had one soft bite on a spinner that got off. Started raining around 9am and I packed it in without any fish caught. The flow is starting to pick up a tiny bit with the rains we've been getting, but still not much water here at low tide. Lost several pieces of gear to submerged logs. This is tough fishing. Can't wait for a bit more rain then I'll try to get up out of the tidal zone.
