Spent the morning below the 522 bridge at Lord Hill in Monroe. There was a lot of surface activity, Silvers jumping everywhere but no one was hooking up. I tried the usual, dick nite, Blue Fox and even drifted a corky with a little yarn and scent. The river has dropped back to its summer low and after the bump last week as well as the nets it looks like we have a ton of fish moving thru fast. Maybe too fast to pay attention to my offerings. I was using 6 lb leader around 40 inches and 10 lb on the main line. I think I will try some bait up by Cadman tomorrow maybe plunk the seam off of Tualco. Tight lines everyone. Sky
