JoAnn and I hit Lake Washington for a shot at some coho. We launch at crack o dawn and ran across the lake to fish the Kirkland slot and off Yarrow Point. Not a lot of fish marks in the slot but Yarrow Point had pretty decide clusters of fish, all of them not biting.
We ran the usual two downriggers and kept the gear 10-15 feet off the bottom. I mixed up large and small plugs, with scent, with herring strip wraps. Nothing matter. Called it a day at 11am.
On a positive note, trolling in close quarters with an electric bow mount for steering in addition to my kicker was pretty awesome. Best upgrade of the year for my boat!
