We got to Higgins Point at noon and headed out towards blue bay and wolf lodge. I saw lots of fish around 30-35 ft so I dropped the riggers down and the action began. It was non stop for the next 2 hrs. We ended up with 31 fish and lost almost as many. I could barely keep three poles in the water. Orange and pinks were the hot colors and we trolled at 1.3 -1.6 mph. I tipped my lures with pink krill scented corn. We head back around 2 because I just didn't want to clean anymore fish. (It takes awhile to process 30 plus fish!) We had a great time and the fish are still in good shape. There should still be a few weeks of great fishing for sure. The fish were running between 12-14 inches.
