10/19/2018 1:19:06 PMThe answer to your question is a resounding NO. My fishing partner and I feel once Coho or Chinook salmon enter Lake Sammamish or Lake Washington that they deserve to be untouched and allowed to continue on their way to their ultimate destination to spawn. The only exception would be a fishery allowed for Sockeye salmon. We will be fishing Lake Washington's north end next week in the area somewhat south of McAleer Creek. That area has in the past at this time of year produced good fishing for native Cutthroat and the occasional sea-run Cutthroat.
