Had the day off and decided to do a Hog Hunting. So i headed down to. Spanaway lake again to try my luck with a bite. Started chucking a Chatterbait with a ragetail craw around the usual spots i target when i'm there no luck, so i switched up to a wacky rig setup with no luck i started thinking i was gonna get skunked today and my time was running short. With only an hour to fish i threw on a Zoom fat albert grub on a 1/2oz swimjig head and headed to another spot on the other side of the lake that i like. Well after the second cast of slowly crawling the grub along the bottom Boom! I get a hookup and it was fighting knowing it was a big one i wasnt letting it get away, after 5mins of fighting i got it up and it was a Hog! After weighing it it was a tad over 6lbs. Overall an Awesome day and a new PB for me at this lake.
