Flows on the peninsula have been extremely low until a couple days ago when we got a spat of rain and flows went from 200-300 up to 1000-1200. Peak flow was yesterday and it seems everyone thought today would be the day to break the dry spell. Except it wasn't, at least for me. I floated the lower satsop from the highway to the mouth, fishing jigs and not a single taker. Saw one fish caught on a black twitching jig midway through the float, that was it. Talked to several frustrated bank anglers, none of them had a fish. Maybe it'll take more consistent flows for several days then a drop to get the B run moving in.
