Another report ripped straight from the log book of that stalwart little craft "The Tin Guppy".
On Saturday my son was able to get away for a day of fishing which hasn't been happening near enough. We launched at Ft. Spokane around 8:30 and headed upriver to the Porcupine Bay area where I had done so well last week. The bite has slowed down a bit, we actually got both rods out and had to wait 5 minutes or so before the first hit. As you have probably guess that was on my orange Kekeda fly. BUT,, there is a new kid on the block that was getting lots of hits also. Capt. Dave had given us some new flys that he is making and they gave my old favorite a run for its money. We finished the day with 2 limits of RB and 1 Walleye. By the time we got around to giving the Walleye a try the wind had picked up and we could deal with it. Didn't get any of the bigger carryovers that caught last week just the standard 15-16 nice thick Rainbows. Sam caught one wild one which wasn't any bigger than the others but put on a very good show.
All in all a very good day but compared to last week I have to give it a 4.
