I hadn't been to Rufus in months. I had to troll and move around to try to find them with the water at 56 degrees. Walleye were deep. I could see them but not catch any when I went to jigging and worm harnesses. Also tried some gulp baits but no luck on anything. I never really found enough fish. Others also said it was slow but a few had a couple of walleye.

I usually fish a small Rapala on the troll so I can catch walleye or triploids. Caught one trout in 2 days- 18". Beautiful up there but water is too warm IMO.
