Brother Ron and I fished Hawk Creek/Lincoln areas Saturday. Got on the water at daybreak and fished till 2:30. It was a weird day of fishing to say the least. I was able to catch a nice rainbow not long after starting and caught another not long after, but this was questionable if it was a cliped or not. I think it probably wasn't but to be safe we released it . Caught another about a hour later and it was a native for sure so released it also. It is hard to tell if some are clipped or not !! The unclipped fish I released were about 19 inches and fat hogs. The rainbows I kept were about 16-17 inch fat boys. Was able to get 4 keepers for the day, but Ron had a tough day only catching only 1 fish, but it was a very nice 23 inch Redban which we released back in the water. It was fun watching Ron fight that hog, which made several runs on him but were finally able get it in the net for release. As always we had fun being on the water and having a bonus of getting some fish to take home. Tight lines to all and be safe---Terry
