I'm rating this trip as a 5 due to lots of fish, even though they were mostly small ones. The little guys are fun to catch when you find them in bunches like this. You kind of get to the point where you don't get bit for 3 or 4 casts and you think they have stopped biting. We released 24 pike between the two of us. Mostly in the 16-20" range. The Packernut got big fish of the day at just under 7 pounds and measuring 29 1/2". They were hitting the glide baits and soft plastic frogs. We smacked a few then went looking for bigger fish but Mike"s 29 1/2 was as big as they would get. I did find one at 24". Water temps were around 43-44 all day. Mother nature tried to keep us off the lake but the county ahd snow plow crews out to help us out. As we headed down the hill to the ramp we followed a plow truck. He encountered a tree across the road and promptly pushed it over the edge into a canyon and we were on our way again. Thanks to him for that!!
