My Son and I fished the Annual Steelhead Derby down in Lewiston for the week 11/17 to 11/24. We caught 7 keepers between the 2 of us and released 8 wild fish.
We had a great week with good weather and I think we did better than most fishermen out there.
My biggest fish was 16.41lb. just missing third place($500). We did win a couple daily prizes which helped with expenses.
Brought home a cooler full of meat for the smoker, and had a great week with my son.
The winning derby fish weighed 18.94lb.
Mostly fished at night with plugs but caught a few on bobber and jig with shrimp.
