Encouraged by a couple of great trips to this lake 2 weeks ago, spent a couple of days back out there and found things had changed. i actually got skunked one day this past week. no perch even! all the big perch seem to have headed out to deeper water. finally, yesterday, things picked up a little. maybe all i needed was a few days of sun. the perch were back in and i caught 1 that went a little over 15 inches, but the biggest one below that went 10. one small mouth at 19 inches got his picture taken then released back to the H2O. shortly after that had another one follow my senko all the way to my tube and hit it as i was lifting it out of the water. i wasn't prepared for it and 20 seconds into the fight he threw the hook due to a bad hook set. he was easily bigger that the first one i caught and i can't wait to go back. hope the fishing holds out for a few more weeks. release 'em
