My brother and I decided that we wanted to catch some trout for dinner. After scouting out some lakes in the black diamond area deep lake seemed like the best option. Fished from 11-3pm with a Break around noon for lunch. Lake seemed pretty much dead except for a few fish rising ever now and then. Took us nearly the whole time to find the fish. My brother caught 2 trout within 3 minutes of each other and that was it for the day. We tried kastmasters and flies. Powerbait took both fish. Both 11 inch skinny rainbows with light pink meat made for an enjoyable dinner.
