Decided to load up the ice fishing gear today and give Gillette lake a try today . I started drilling holes on Lake Gillette about 10:30 am and fished the deep part of the lake with no fish at 70'. I then move in to 50' and started catching trout right away at about 20'-30' deep on a pink ice jig. All together today i caught a total of 15 trout through out the rest of the day staying between 55' and 30' deep. ICE IS PLENTY SAFE ON GILLETTE!. Good luck everyone and good fishing!!!
