Got on the water around 9am. Freezing cold, good thing there is a heater on the boat. Extremely thick fog, visibility about 5ft. Had to rely on gps to get to the spot. Started trolling for rainbows/Kokanee. Had 1 take down on the downrigger. And a hit on cowbells but neither stuck. Trolled for about 2 hours until the fog blew off. When the fog blew off we realized we were not the only ones on the water. About 20 other boats were out. We saw only 2 fish caught trolling. We marked many schools of perch so we decided to chase them. The sonar lit up we dropped down dropshot with tubes and worms. Lots of action. Until the school left. We moved around the lake to more schools for the rest of the day. We found most the fish in 65-85 feet of water. Caught about 15 and kept 10 perch. The perch were solid 10-13 inches and thick. We also saw many other boats catch lots of perch. It was a great day out on the water and perch tasted great.
