First time being on the lake in the boat. Fished from 1pm-6pm. Trolled for most the time. We trolled wedding rings, kastmasters, flatfish and Ford fenders. With nothing. We had " maybe bite" when the rod popped off the clip but nothing else. Marked quite a bit of fish in the 10-25 feet range but that was it. Switched to bass fishing in the late afternoon. I had what looked to be an 18 inch brown follow my jerkbait to the boat. But that was it. Water temp ranged from 49-54° finished the with power bait whitch we got 2 trout with. A bunch of cormorants in the trees as well. Beautiful day out on the water, can't complain about sunshine.
