We had a few hours to kill so we headed out to Hayden. We fished from 4-5:30 pm. The bite was consistent and we ended up with 5 in the boat and quite a few that got off before we could land them. 1.5 mph seemed to be the best speed and the fish were scattered all over the water column. I was using Kokabow blades and home tied lures. Orange was the hot color today.
