We started fishing around 6:00 am and finished by 12:00 pm with a fish pole full of great size eating Walleye and a couple Burbot. This fun group and I launched out of Hunters, fished 1 mile south of Hunters. Just caught a few fish in the boat. About 9:00 am, we head about 5 miles north of the Hunters launch. By the end of their half day trip, we ended up with a nice mess of Walleye! One of our customers ended up taking a Northern Pike out of Lake Roosevelt in the same Walleye area we were fishing. Seems that the Northern Pike are being found in all the same areas we fished this week. All fish were caught on a green jig at depths 50'-100'.
