Well for fishing the day barely rated a 1, the wind blew from about every direction imaginable. But for boat testing it was a fine day. My buddy Tom and I got the new boat on the water about 8 AM and headed up the Spokane Arm thinking we could find some place to hide from the wind, should leave the thinking to someone else. Seemed like the wind came from every direction, sometimes just straight down. We picked up 3 little dinks over by Blue Creek which just out of total desperation we kept so I could test the live well and practice filleting on board. It was great. I had been working hard to get the new boat outfitted and a new Minn Kota Terrova mounted on the bow and was very pleased with how everything worked out. The windy day created some challenging conditions which was really good for testing. Everything works and we got a little blood on the boat. It's all good.
