The Walleye were a little more tight lipped today on Lake Roosevelt. We fished near the Hunters area in the morning teaching the fun group how to get the jigging technique down before we fished rougher waters. We then motored just south of Gifford catching a few fish in the boat. In the afternoon, we fished just north of Hunters and everyone started catching Walleye and Burbot until the bite died off in that location. We then moved down by the Fruitland area catching a few more Walleye and Burbot. The fish were biting light today and harder to come by but the four guys pulled it off with 25 Walleye and 8 decent size Burbot. Fish were caught from 50'-80' today on bright green 1 ounce jigs tipped with night crawler. Good Luck and Good Fishing Everyone!!!
