I got to Clear lake about 10:30am..decided to launch to right and quit a few cars in parking lot. Water level was up not many little lily pads visible. Cast my top water minnow and got tap right away close to shore...got closer to shore and fish on! Third cast 11" bass. Had couple more rolls by launch..then started down shoreline fishing close to shore casting accuracy is the key...had roll, wake and bam big fish on! He jumped three times and landed him...tape measure photo weigh him 15" 1.71lbs..good start two fish in 15 mins...had hit on buzzbait he was on for a few reels but got off...felt smaller...had few more rolls but nothing and decided to head sw...put trolling motor on five and let out floating minnow to troll...yep you can catch trout trolling on 4 and 5..sure enough get about half way there fish on...trout 10.5"...cruise to far side and start casting not many pads up on this end either...tried shoreline no bites went half way down side reel minnow back good hit fish on surprised me stopped reeling saw him fish off 13-14"...talked to two kayakers asked how I was doing told him slow but caught some any size? One 15". I cast along shore twitch minnow once bam fish on with a witness..asks me what I am using...and.move down shore got another small bass then go around last corner wait for wind to clear me of branch over hang...cast one move and bam nice one no fight comes in sideways 13"..let him go then he jumps...wind picked up decided to troll back no bites tried shore by launch got two sunfish and about six bites.

Quit 4:20 pm..got 8 fish five bass 15", 13", 11" two smaller, one trout and two sunfish..not a lot of action maybe 15-20 hits.

Was slower with water level up.
