Aaron and I started fishing at 6, just after sunrise. Fish were jumping and water depths are all over, from 5 to 50 feet so we mainly trolled the top 15 feet. Started catching 6-9" rainbows immediately. Stopped tipping the hook with a worm after the first couple, they weren't needed. Trolled the south side mostly but did hit the whole lake. Caught a nice brood stock suspended at 20 FOW in the middle of the lake. Maybe 30 boats on the water which felt crowded. Saw some juvenile bald eagles and pelican getting their breakfast.
