Saw that this local lake less than 20 minutes from home got stock so I headed over after work on Tuesday. Surprised to see only a few cars in the lot and talked to two anglers pulling in that did not do so well. Hmmmm

Well, the fish were super active and loved the following lures........Kastmaster Metallic Perch, Daredevil Potato Bug, Dick Nite 50/50 and G-d’s Tooth 50/50. I caught a fair amount that were about 4” thick about 11” long....nice fighting fish. I used no weight so my action was top wate near the front of the lake.

Saw a few Bass Anglers and as the day went on more anglers showed up. The end of the lake has done me well too once the fish start moving around.

Last year I also saw the WDFW on the lake twice opening week so make sure you are totally legal.
