Big thumbs up to these two Walleye fishermen fishing the main part of Lake Roosevelt today. We started the morning right out of Hunters catching fish right away until the South wind and rain moved in. The conditions were wet and cold for about two hours forcing us to constantly battle the South wind. Tired of little results, I motored these guys North resulting in a few more fish in the boat. Around 2:00 pm, the wind started blowing out of the North fairly hard so I moved our fishing trip to Gifford. We arrived in Gifford and the water was completely calm and the fish were biting. Most of the fish today were on the smaller size but these two fishermen did put a few larger Walleye & Burbot in the boat. All fish were caught today from 65'-95' of water on green and purple Jigs. Good Luck & Good Fishing Everyone!!!
