First time to Pine Lake. Calm day, mid-60's. Was able to see a number of fish surfacing and marked a number of them on the fish finder, but had no luck landing any. Attempted trolling with power eggs with a small power worm.

When trolling, power bait isn't the best choice. Try something that looks like a smaller baitfish. I caught a lot of fish on Pine the other day trolling (on my fly rod) a medium sized brown and yellow bugger. For trolling on a spinning rod, maybe try a small spoon, spinner, or even a small plug (like a Rapala). Pine still has a lot of fish in it.

Troll the fly. Small wooly bugger or muddler minnow. Get some Gulp Maggots and tip the hook with one or half a maggot. Troll slow with a tiny split shot a foot or so above the fly. This will just help in getting the line out faster when trolling, only makes it sink a foot or so under the surface when trolling. You will catch fish.
