Lake Roosevelt Walleye and Burbot were biting as soon as the jigs hit the bottom of the lake today. We started fishing about 8:00 am this morning launching from Hunters where we started heading South. Not knowing what depth of water the fish were biting today, we just started jigging at 45' of water with no results. We changed our depth and started catching fish at 74'-105' of water. The Burbot we caught today were in the deeper depths and the Walleye hung out in 75' of water consistently. Before the heavy rain moved in, we decided to motor up about 4 miles North of Hunters launch. We ended up catching a few more fish to make a great finish to our day out on Lake Roosevelt. Good Luck and Good Fishing Everyone!!! Have a safe and fun Memorial Day Weekend to you all!
