Decided to take my brother out on my inflatable raft to troll for some trout on diablo. I heard it was a sleeper lake and held some nice fish. We got on the water at about 9:00. It was overcast and about 50 degrees. Not sure about the water temperature though since I left my Humminbird fish finder at Lake Samish the day before, never to be seen again (bummer). Upon clearing the bridge, I immediately hooked up with a nice 17" bull trout trolling at about 10'. We fished until around 1:00, catching 6 more rainbows between 11-15". The rain and wind steadily increased throughout the day, and caused us to end our day early. All fish were caught on Elgin's Gods tooth spoons (nickel/brass,blue/nickel,pink) accompanied by matching 4" Dick nite Dodgers. All fish were caught between 10-25'. Definitely plan on going out there again soon!

The God's Tooth has been working out great for me for both trout and kokanee, so thank you!

I'd say that last pic looks like a bull trout. But don't know if Diablo holds them. Why not the Skagit River does
