I started fishing around 7:30am. The water was 68.8 degrees. I placed my gear down on the wire of the downriggers at 23 and 17 feet. During the 3 hour time I was out I went from 12 to 40 feet. Most bites came between 17 and 30 feet. I went from 40 to 85 foot water depth with most coming in at 50-65 feet deep.
Limit of trout came on corn, and maggots as well as my lures and the dodgers. Speed was from .80 and 2.3 mph.
This is the first time I have been out since Sept. 2018 before I had back surgery. I remembered how to do everything. Amazed me.
