My brother Richard and Kim came fishing with me to Alder Lake on my birthday. They started fishing about 7:30 and Kim had one lost at the net soon after. I started fishing about 8am. Water temp was from 66-67 degrees and for Alder the water was pretty clear. We trolled from 1 to 1.8 mph. Most fish were caught between 11-24 feet on the wire. The wind came up at different times so speed wasn’t constant. It was mostly cloudy but just as the sun started to come out a north wind blew in some clouds that were just above the trees and it got cold. We quit about 11:30.
My brother had lots of bites. He was longlining but he never got one to the boat. Kim got 2 kokanee in the boat and 2 she lost at the boat. I got 2 kokanee, 2 trout, and 3 crappie. All in all a good day catching for me.
