My buddy his brother and myself took a quick trip to chelan to target smallies and Mack's. We tried smallies in the AM and got a few small ones but ran into lots of pikeminnow... they were slamming crankbaits. After weeding out a few of em we decided to troll for some macks. Also got 1 cutthroat on topwater which was interesting. We trolled for hours picking up one mack about every 30 min to an hour. Dragging bottom at 135 ft deep at Hollywood beach was our best spot. Used smaller kokanee flashers with some kingfisher cookies and cream spoons with scent did the trick. Largest fish was pushing 4 lbs. The wind up near 25 mile creek where we stayed was gnarly but further south wasnt too bad. No cell coverage at 25 mile creek either FYI, which was nice actually haha.
