Son Don and I fished Wildcat Lake in his drift boat. For the longer runs we used an electric motor. It was great to visit Wildcat lake again. I hadn't fished it since 2011. We caught several fish and the weather was just right. Several anglers were fishing trout when we arrived -- both from the shoreline and a couple boats on the lake. We seen no bass fishermen until about noon when we quit. Lots of colorful lily pad blossoms added to the scenic beauty of the lake. Tempting casting targets were everywhere around the lake. Most of our fish were caught on Jigs.
