We arrived at the launch shortly after dawn. I cant say it's a great launch, due to limited parking & a steep narrow ramp, but we were first on the scene. We fished near the park for a spell but didn't find much so decided to move to the north end. This was only my second time here, but was shocked to see how choked the middle passage is with weeds & lillies. We began fishing the docks & structures as soon as we made it the little passage that made me quite nervous. By the looks of the debris in the lake & the mortar tubes on most docks, the lake must have sounded like Baghdad or Beirut last night. However it didn't scare the bass, we must have boated 30 fish in that north end! Admittedly, most were dinks, but you just didn't know what ya had till ya set the hook. Most were caught on a ned rig, but poppers, sinkos, jerkbaits all worked. The speed limit till 10:30 also works out well for fisherpersons!

Nice to get a bass report on Roesiger. I fished it a few times back in the early 1980s. My best bass was 3 pounds, 8 ounces. She hit a black jig.

Agreed. Roesiger is a great bass lake that seems to get little respect. Love to know whats working for others who fish it. I have caught 6 and 8lbrs there so it does have some good sized ones.

Thanks for the report! Is there anywhere to launch on the north end?
