We were able to fish the Bonneville Pool for oversize sturgeon this last weekend! Now is a great time to target these big fish. You can expect to catch some of the biggest fish of your lives this time of year. We hooked several fish in the 7-11 foot range! Shad and squid were our top baits, fishing deep water for these beast. When fishing for oversize sturgeon, it is important to use big enough equipment to get these fish landed in a short time. 15-20 minutes is plenty of time if you have the right gear. Handle these gentle giants with care, get a great picture, and release these fish back when done!
