Went and fished the Canyon section of the Yakima on Sunday with my dad after hearing rumors the summer stones were popping and the fish were looking up. Didn't see any summer stones, and the fish actively ignored any/all stone imitations on the top water, but the dropper on our hopper dropper rigs were attracting plenty of action. Only boated a couple fish, but my dad (who's not as quick on the draw as he used to be) was seeing action all day. I think we missed about 15 strikes throughout the day, so we were doing something right but couldn't put it all together. Saw caddis, BWO, and even a few PMDs still.

Nymphing in the morning was boring an unproductive

Hot flies - BWO Parachute (sz 16/14), X Caddis (!) (sz 14)
