Well had a chance to get away with my friend Brandon and do some salmon fishing, hit the opener on Columbia in front of Chelan river, left Spokane at 3am arrived at Bebee launch at 5:45am, long drive , boat launch packed and looked like the Boat Nick's out on the river, fished on downrigger 24ft in 30ft of water trolling flasher and Brad's cutplug herring stuffed with tuna and secret sauce, had a total of 4 fish on and finally got one to the net, 16lb king, hit like a freight train made a couple of long runs. Lost two chinooks in other fisherman's downriggers who was following to close behind my boat. Over all good day when you finally land one.
