First time posting here. First time fishing this lake. I ajev always wanted to and never had an opportunity too. We went yesterday the 17th and we started out on the water about 4:30 am and fished until about 3 pm. It absolutely poured on us all day. We were in a 14 ft aluminum boat completely uncovered ALL day. And we were pretty proud of ourselves for toughing it out all day. Soaked does not even describe how wet we got. But we absolutely had a blast. Me and my two buddy's were pretty proud of ourselves for sticking it out and we fished hard! We were one of the last boats on the lake.

To sum it up we ended the day with 3 fish in the boat and one lost at the boat. So we were happy we all left with a fish. We trolled useing downriggers all day. We only marked a few fish spread out throughout the lake and every fish caught was when there was nothing on the screen. They are definitely spread our still. We fished pink and orange hoochies with coon shrimp at about 35 ft to 50ft. 1 fish was caught at 25 ft. The others at 35.
We had a blast and I definitely will be headed back. Bad weather or not! Maybe I'll camp next time so we aren't having to leave the house at 130 in the morning. But hey I love fishing no matter what so whatever it takes!!
