Silver lake is always a good day of fishin'. give yourself a good 3-4 foot lead and some floating powerbait will do the trick. Worms work too. real easy to limit out here. lots of shorefishin' spots. Primo spot for fishing with kids. Sounds like they dumped a bunch of big fatties in it about two weeks ago. Seen many 4-5lb Rainbow fatties comin' out. There are crappie, perch, largmouth, catfish, stocked rainbows (16,000). Also big cutties, but they're wise to our human shenanigans and very hard to catch. bring a cooler for your catch, the local Eagles are Majestic Bandits.
