Haven't been able to get out all summer, had a bad case of shingles then watched the grandkids while our newest one came into the world. Went out to the lake with my wife for a little while, what a beautiful morning to be out. The water was warm, as was the air. Started with slip bobber at 6' deep and a bottom fishing slip sinker rig with 3' leader. Tried worms, worms and mallows, and white and green power bait with no luck. Didn't pick up fish until I set the slip bobber to about 11' deep, in 20' of water. Worms did the trick.
