Probably best day so far this year.

Put in at everett 5.30am flat calm so just a 20 minute run to possession.
About an hour in the fog rolled in and visibility was down to a couple hundred yards. A goldfinch joined us and stayed on the boat for about 45 min until the fog started to lift.
First fish was a pink at 70' then we had three on and lost them all, one at the net when my daughter was too slow lifting it up and the fish left the hook in the net and swam away.
We headed over to jeff head fishing the main channel, had another good hookup bit it spat the hook when it broke the surface 10' from the boat.
We were spending too much time cleaning off weeds so headed back to possession.
Fishing the east side I had two more hookups that got loose and a flounder, guess I got closer to the bottom than I realized.

With the tide change going out we headed over to the west side. Within an hour we had the coho in the 6-8 lb range and with the fight it gave I was thinking I finally had my king but alas it was not to be.

Headed back to the dock around 4pm where the fish checker took the coho head as it had a chip in it.
Already looking forward to my next trip out but first I am putting new sharp hooks on everything.
