Salmon fishing on my hometown dock is starting to pick up resulting in my biggest king salmon catch yet! Over the last 2 weeks i have fished after work from 730 to 900 3 days. The first day i caught a jack under the legal limit safely released, the second hooked up but lost it, and most recently landed a king approximately 20 lbs! All fish were hooked using a minow jig during high tide. Not willing to go into details on make/model color or size of lure, all i can say is bigger isnt always better. I am very grateful to have salmon of this magnitude in my backyard and hope other fisherman can ethically experience the joy of landing one of these hogs too.
