Everyone had a great day on the water today. We launched from Kettle Falls boat launch and headed up North by the Kettle Falls bridge. The first part of the morning was slow with really light bites. About 8:00 am the fishing picked up some with some good hits. After we had a couple good bites, this nice 57" slotfish showed up with a fight. We had many hits today but the fish were just not committing to the hook. We found today's Sturgeon in 156' of water using pickled herring. These guys took home some real nice Sturgeon Fillets for the freezer. Anyone wanting to come out and give Lake Roosevelt a try for some tasty Sturgeon fillets with Captain Todd Give us a call or contact us at www.lakerooseveltcharters.com
No one has ever fished for Sturgeon in the month of September in many years on Lake Roosevelt and it is going to be interesting to see how September turns out. We are also booking for Kokanee as well. Good Luck & Good Fishing Everyone!!!
