Spent a few mornings and evenings this week on Evergreen Reservoir. Fished this lake a few times over the years but could never get a musky. Our lucked changed this time and my nephew is officially hooked on tiger muskies. He got his first ever. She was in a back bay near a drop off with plenty of healthy weed beds. She hit on a Musky Mayhem's Double Showgirl in Rainbow/Nickel. We didn't take any measurements as she was still putting up a good thrashing. So we opted for a quick photo shoot and got her back in the water for another lucky angler. We also tried for walleye using some jigs but no luck. Saw plenty of smallies and largemouth around but they wouldn't give us the time of day.
