Had a late start on the lake today. Fish were in the channels and rip rap that were caught on spinnerbaits and crankbaits in the a.m. Later on in the afternoon I located fish in the brush piles along the edges of lake with a jig and pig combination. Lost a couple of nice fish couldn't get them into the boat. Over 20 Bass were caught today. Checked at one of the resort docks which I counted over 25 people fishing which turned out to be Crappie fisherman. Asked one of the fishermen if i could look into his bucket to see what size of fish were being caught and saw that the fish were small (4 to 5 inches) but the people were catching a lot. Managed to land 3 nice fish for a picture at the end of the day. Temperature is still staying the same as last week for the water in and around 59 to 60 degrees all day. With the rain that has been falling lately the water is starting to clear up at one end of the lake whith quite the opposite at the other. Even though most fish were small too me there is never a bad day on any lake as long as my line is getting wet I'm happy.
