Launched out of Everett a bit before 6. Ran down to Mukilteo and started trolling. Lost a couple fish on the way down. Crossed into Area 9 and then the bite started. Should have limited by 10, but do you think I could hold onto the fish. Just not my day. Somedays are just like that. Lost a ton at the side of the boat. Got a couple on the boat. Didn't see many nets moving until mid morning. Once we did they were though. Had all poles with a fish on at one time. Seemed at the minimum when we had one on we'd have two on. Weather was nice. Couple sprinkles, but it was nice out. Some grass in a few places that filled the lines and downrigger cables up. Saw a lot of schools on the surface in 8-2. Couple guys casting for them. Wish they'd open up the Snohomish. I really think there are plenty and the forecast for them may be a tad off. Either way a nice day. Hopefully the silvers start showing in numbers by next weekend. Get a trip or two in before I head elk hunting. I talked to the fish checker when I came in and she had checked some silvers, but not a huge amount.

Figures. Hate having to look at rule changes every twenty minutes to see if it is open this hour. Careful they may change their mind before the day is out. Thanks for letting me know though.
